The new rules mainsail is now Tri Radial in construction and
built from Polyester Laminate, it includes the new larger Roach profile
that is now required in the class rules. This new mainsail due to its
construction and material choice has dramatically changed the profile of
the boat.
Mainsail Sailcloth is Dimension-Polyant polyester laminate.
The new rules jib again has a lower clew to help improve the
look of the rig but primarily to get a low sheeting angle and to make
the most of the power that is generated from the base of the sail.
Foresail Sailcloth is Contender 5.6 Polykote a firm finish coated woven polyester.
