Optimist Sails
Hyde Sails have been developing our Optimist mainsails very closely with our Italian Distributors Boatech.
Boatech are Optimist coaches for their region in Italy, with
their expertise within the fleet we have now produced 2 different design
mainsails a Lights and Standard to suit our customers weight. These
sails are now starting to prove themselves in the Italian and Swedish
optimist fleets.
Optimist Mainsail
We offer 2 different weight sails and these are made from
different cloths to suit. Both these sails are Cross cut designs, we
have found that the Cross cut sail make a smoother faster sail due to
lower number of seams in the design compared with the other Radial sails
in the market place.
Light Weight sail suited for 30-42KG = 140 BHTP
Standard Weight sail suited for 40-54KG = 2.99oz PK
The sail is supplied with battens, Sail numbers, Royalty tag and sailbag.
